Prof. AMU Agnieszka Ludwików, the Director of Doctoral School of Natural Science, obtained her PhD (2006) ad her habilitation (2016) at Faculty of Biology AMU. In 2003 received a stipend within the Marie Curie Training Site programme for a research visit at the University of Manchester in Patrick Gallois lab where she learned microarray analysis. Her research focuses on signaling processes in plants. She got expertise in functional genomics, biochemistry, proteomics, interactomics and RNAseq transcriptomics. She was PI in several NCN projects, a COST action EU project and POWER projects. In 2016 she became the Head of PhD studies at the Faculty of Biology, AMU. Since 2017 she has been the Head of Laboratory of Biotechnology at IMBB. Since 2019 she has been leading the Doctoral School in Natural Science.
